Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Burns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Overslam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burns comes to the cage accompanied by Die by the drop. Dante Overslam is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William Burns! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dante Overslam! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Burns misses with a combination
and Overslam counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Burns is looking to regain half guard here but Overslam keeps moving and retains side control. Burns takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Overslam misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Overslam moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Overslam creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Burns sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Overslam working the head and body with strikes. Overslam has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Overslam working away. Overslam remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Burns knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Overslam on the ground. Overslam creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Burns sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Overslam scoring with punches from side control. The referee asks Overslam politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Overslam prefers to stall for the moment though. Burns can't do much from the bottom here. Overslam working the ground and pound but Burns is defending the strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Burns's face as Overslam controls the position. Overslam lands a nice forearm strike. Overslam connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Burns some visible discomfort.
Overslam lands an elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Overslam moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. It looks like Overslam might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Overslam throws an elbow but Burns slips to the side and avoids it well. Burns is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Overslam is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Overslam misses with a head shot. The referee warns Burns that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Overslam is landing with some decent strikes but Burns is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Overslam dominating with strikes here. Overslam looking to control and managing it successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dante Overslam dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Overslam lunges at Burns with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Burns's hand. Overslam sends Burns crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Overslam is motioning to the referee to let Burns up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Burns is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns clobbers Overslam with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Overslam dances in with a quick combination. Burns is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Overslam snaps Burns's head back. Burns stumbles backwards against the cage. Overslam steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Burns's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Burns just didn't come prepared.
