Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Chapin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapin comes to the cage accompanied by Eminence Front-The Who. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bernard Chapin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nick Kim!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chapin clinches.

Chapin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Chapin moves into range and clinches up with Kim.

Chapin has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Kim is trying to keep an underhook but Chapin manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kim manages to get to full guard.
Kim looking to control.
Chapin slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Kim working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chapin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chapin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kim gets tackled into the cage by Chapin. Chapin maintains the clinch.

Chapin turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Chapin manages to end up in side control.

Chapin is staying active underneath Kim, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
