The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Navarro scores with a jab to the body.

Kong changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Navarro fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Kong manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Navarro on his heels. He'll look to pass Navarro's guard now, I'm sure.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Navarro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kong stands up over Navarro, holding on to his feet. Kong throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Navarro is out cold! Kong lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
