The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Wilkerson. Wilkerson obviously looking to wear him down.
Wilkerson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Moore has time to react.
Moore avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Wilkerson.
Wilkerson takes a swing at Moore's ribcage but misses.
A bone on bone clash there as Moore blocks the leg kick.

Moore takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Jared Moore has been cut.
Wilkerson lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Moore has Wilkerson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Moore pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Wilkerson tumbling to the mat - Moore dives into Wilkerson's guard.
Wilkerson can't keep his opponent in guard - Moore advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Moore is trying to control the action in half guard but Wilkerson is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Wilkerson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Moore wants to take a breather but Wilkerson is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilkerson on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Nice sprawl there from Wilkerson as Moore shoots in.
Wilkerson throws a head kick but Moore moves out of range.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Wilkerson is looking to slow Moore down with leg kicks.
Wilkerson doesn't manage to clinch there - Moore circles away.

Wilkerson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Moore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Moore looks gassed!
Wilkerson wants to get up but he can't break Moore's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Moore has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Wilkerson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Moore.

Wilkerson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Moore to his feet.
Grant Wilkerson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moore has his foot on Wilkerson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wilkerson works his way back into a safe position though.

Moore working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Wilkerson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Moore is tightening it up a little... Wilkerson has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Wilkerson reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Wilkerson taps out! nice BJJ there by Moore!
