Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fist Rockbone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Paiyn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Fist Rockbone has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Fist Rockbone seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rockbone swats away the attempt to clinch by Paiyn.
Rockbone misses with a series of wild punches.
Rockbone shoots in for a takedown but Paiyn shows good takedown defense.

Rockbone closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Paiyn wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Rockbone has him pressed against the cage.
Paiyn tries to pull guard but Rockbone holds him up against the cage and eventually Paiyn drops back down to his feet.
Rockbone lands a nice elbow.
Rockbone using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Paiyn has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Paiyn has Rockbone pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rockbone manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Paiyn is trying desperately to land a takedown but Rockbone is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Paiyn.

Paiyn closes the distance and clinches up with Rockbone, looking for a takedown. Paiyn pushes Rockbone against the cage but Rockbone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Donk. Rockbone catches Paiyn right on the button with a cross.
Paiyn shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Rockbone but Rockbone pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rockbone stuffs the takedown.
Rockbone throws a sloppy head kick and Paiyn moves out of range easily.
Rockbone drops Paiyn with a left and a right! Oh, Paiyn is hurt - Rockbone dives into side control looking to finish!
Paiyn is still in real trouble! Can Rockbone finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Paiyn is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rockbone here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Paiyn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rockbone can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Paiyn had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Rockbone is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Paiyn Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Rockbone's back instead.
Rockbone wants to control his opponent's hands but Paiyn gets his hands free.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paiyn gets to his feet. Rockbone looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Paiyn postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rockbone is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Paiyn, into his guard.

Rockbone has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rockbone avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Paiyn working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rockbone doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rockbone manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Paiyn is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Rockbone rolls with it to try and escape but Paiyn cranks on the arm and Rockbone is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
