Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juno Ku (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sam Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malik has chosen Rocky Theme as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juno Ku! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sam Malik! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Malik tries to bum rush Ku with a series of wild strikes but Ku uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Sloppy strikes from Malik. Those never looked like landing. The fight moves into the clinch position. Ku leaning his opponent against the cage. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ku obliges. Ku misses with a knee to the head. Ku tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Malik looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ku misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Malik.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ku takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ku tries to stall but Malik uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Malik blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Malik looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ku keeps control of Malik as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Malik looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ku connects with a knee to the head.
It looks like Sam Malik has been cut.

Malik is rocked! Malik gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Ku points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Malik wakes up just in time to hear Ku thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
