Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Marko Storic!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Micheangelo Fripello and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walsh takes a swing at Storic's ribcage but misses.
Storic tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Storic on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Marko Storic has been cut.
Walsh circles away from the clinch attempt.
Walsh stuffs the takedown attempt from Storic. Storic gets slowly back to his feet.
Donk. Walsh catches Storic right on the button with a cross.
Walsh jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Storic is defended easily by Walsh.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Storic takes the fight into the clinch.
Walsh working hard to break the clinch.
Storic is looking to take this one to the mat.
Frank Walsh has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marko Storic.
Storic has Walsh pressed against the cage, preventing Walsh from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Storic decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Storic has a closed guard, preventing Walsh from standing up.

Walsh trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frank Walsh has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Walsh scores with a hook.

Storic throws a series of punches but Walsh avoids them all with ease.
Storic takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Walsh throws a poor cross that misses
and Storic counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Storic postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Storic stands and steps away. Walsh gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Walsh lunges at Storic with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Storic's hand.
Frank Walsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Storic looks gassed!
Storic with a lazy takedown attempt
and Walsh counters with a nice uppercut.
Storic is rocked!
That has opened up Marko Storic's cut even more.
Storic tries to clinch there but Walsh circles away.
Storic is still on wobbly legs! Can Walsh finish him?
Storic moves out of range of the strikes.
Storic seems to have recovered his senses.
Storic walks into a straight right hand from Walsh.
Walsh defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Storic.
Storic fails to land the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Storic slips a jab from Walsh.
Walsh fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Storic looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Walsh swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Walsh ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Walsh listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Walsh feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Storic sprawling to the canvas! Storic rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Walsh finish him?!
The cut above Marko Storic's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Storic needs to keep his hands up - Walsh had a free shot at his head there.
Walsh ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Storic's jaw. Storic's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Walsh does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frank Walsh!
