Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ignat Kaigorodov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunthor Xiilianiatoph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaigorodov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Xiilianiatoph sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kaigorodov somewhat.

Kaigorodov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Xiilianiatoph sprawls well initially but Kaigorodov persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kaigorodov thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Kaigorodov lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

It looks like Gunthor Xiilianiatoph has been cut.
Xiilianiatoph misses with some strikes from the bottom.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kaigorodov lands a nice short elbow.
Kaigorodov throwing shots but Xiilianiatoph is blocking nicely.
Xiilianiatoph is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Kaigorodov scores with a couple of nice shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kaigorodov is nestled in close to Xiilianiatoph, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Xiilianiatoph has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Xiilianiatoph is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kaigorodov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kaigorodov's back!

Xiilianiatoph is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kaigorodov defends well.

Xiilianiatoph has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kaigorodov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Xiilianiatoph looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kaigorodov lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Xiilianiatoph has his foot on Kaigorodov's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kaigorodov works his way back into a safe position though.

Xiilianiatoph working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kaigorodov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kaigorodov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kaigorodov lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Xiilianiatoph escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Kaigorodov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Kaigorodov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Xiilianiatoph doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Xiilianiatoph can't keep his opponent in guard - Kaigorodov advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The cut above Gunthor Xiilianiatoph's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Xiilianiatoph is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kaigorodov is trying for a kimura here. Xiilianiatoph looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kaigorodov wins by kimura!
