The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright tries to clinch but Sackett moves out of range.

It looks like Camber Cartwright has been cut.

Cartwright throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.

Sackett looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Sackett really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cartwright. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Sackett lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Sackett is taking a breather. Cartwright says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sackett connects with a nice short shot to Cartwright's temple.

Cartwright's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Sackett postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Cartwright looks a forlorn figure.
