The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a head kick that misses
and Austin counters with a takedown into side control.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Austin tries to advance to mount but Silva denies him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Silva is looking to reverse the position.

Austin is looking for a kimura but Silva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Austin to get the leverage.
Austin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Silva takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
