The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Rourke counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Orion throws a lazy right hand but Rourke sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rourke lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Orion throws a head kick but Rourke moves out of range.

Rourke lands a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Orion keeping moving, preventing Rourke from controlling successfully.
Rourke trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Orion manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Rourke working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Orion doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Orion manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Rourke escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Orion gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Orion is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Orion throws an elbow that misses. Rourke uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Orion's guard. Nice move by Rourke!

Rourke not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
