Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Richard Breaksiron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Craig Adamson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Richard Breaksiron had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Richard Breaksiron!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Craig Adamson!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adamson pushes Breaksiron away with a front kick.

Adamson clinches up against the cage.
Adamson misses with a knee to the head.
Adamson with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Adamson has Breaksiron pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Breaksiron manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Breaksiron wants to take the fight to the mat but Adamson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Adamson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Adamson is looking for a triangle but Breaksiron pushes his legs off easily.

Adamson is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
Breaksiron working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Adamson throws his legs up looking for a submission but Breaksiron uses it to pass to side control.

Adamson is looking to regain half guard here but Breaksiron keeps moving and retains side control.

Adamson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Breaksiron off and has taken his back!

Breaksiron might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Adamson tries to pass to full mount but Breaksiron defends it.
Adamson working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Adamson wants to stand up but Breaksiron has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Breaksiron is trying to control but can't.
Adamson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Breaksiron keeps working.
Nice strikes from Adamson there.
Adamson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Breaksiron works his way to full guard. Good work.
Breaksiron avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Breaksiron is on top in guard.

Adamson has his foot on Breaksiron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Breaksiron works his way back into a safe position though.

Breaksiron is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Adamson!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Breaksiron connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Adamson is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Richard Breaksiron will probably get the nod.
That's time! Breaksiron's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Breaksiron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Adamson seems keen to control Breaksiron's posture.

Adamson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Breaksiron has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Adamson after a bit of a struggle.

Breaksiron cracks Adamson with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
