The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mael throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
The fighters circling - Mael throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mael throws a poor cross that misses
and Cababat counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Mael throws a body punch but Cababat moves out of range.
Mael throws a predictable looking body shot
and Cababat counters with a nice body shot.
Mael looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cababat is fending him off so far but Mael persists. Nope, Cababat circles away and we're back to standing.
Mael misses with a hook. Cababat ducked under it nicely.

Cababat fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Cababat moves out of range as Mael throws a body kick.
Mael goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mael.
Mael throws a push kick but Cababat slaps the foot to one side.

Mael tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cababat was well out of range. Poor timing from Mael.
Cababat moves out of range as Mael throws a body kick.
Mael throws the kick towards the body but Cababat avoids it.
Mael just misses with a punch to the body.
Cababat slaps away a takedown attempt from Mael, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Cababat punishes Mael's body with a nice straight punch.
Cababat uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mael.
Mael takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Cababat counters with a three punch combo that has Mael backing up. Mael nods at Cababat to acknowledge the strikes.
Mael takes one to the chin there.

Mael throws a half hearted mid kick.
Cababat smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Mael is rocked!
Cababat lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Mael out cold! Mael is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
