Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennon swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Rood counters with a nice uppercut.
It looks like Aaron Lennon has been cut.
Lennon sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Lennon looks gassed!
Rood displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lennon throws out the jab.
Lennon throws a body punch but Rood moves out of range.
Lennon throws a lazy head kick
and Rood counters with a nice leg kick.
Lennon misses with an uppercut. Rood saw that one coming.
Rood misses with a two punch combination.
Rood throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lennon walks into a straight right hand from Rood.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lennon misses the body punch
and Rood counters with a slapping leg kick.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Rood - that will leave a mark!
Rood lands a big head kick that sends Lennon tumbling to the mat! Rood takes a step backwards and waves Lennon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Lennon is rocked!
Rood moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Lennon is still on wobbly legs! Can Rood finish him?
Rood goes for a small jab and connects. Now Rood goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Lennon stumbles back but Rood runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Lennon to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Lennon will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brad Rood!
