Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, All Inn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Cooperman! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
![](https://www.mmatycoon.com/images/fight/round1.jpg) The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Inn takes a swing at Cooperman's ribcage but misses. Inn slips under a jab from Cooperman. Cooperman throws a hook to the side of Inn's head but Inn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Cooperman lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Inn uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Cooperman.
Cooperman throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Cooperman throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Inn on the side of the head. Cooperman connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Inn momentarily.
Cooperman misses with a hook. Inn displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cooperman throws out the jab.
Inn looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cooperman trying to control here.

Inn is looking to take a break and control but Cooperman is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Cooperman takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Cooperman is not content to let Inn control the position. Cooperman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Inn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cooperman tries to get back to half guard but can't. Cooperman trying to remain calm as Inn controls from the top position.

Inn is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Cooperman looks calm but he's in trouble here. Inn gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Cooperman is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Inn lets go of the hold and Cooperman can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). All Inn! A determined All Inn didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
