Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Irons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Jef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jim Irons! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Larry Jef! The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Kenichi Hosakawa and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jef with a lazy takedown attempt and Irons counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Jef has his takedown stuffed and Irons counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Irons pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jef should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jef has his takedown stuffed and Irons counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Larry Jef has been cut. Jim Irons has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Larry Jef. Irons tries a low kick but Jef avoids it. Irons swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Irons misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jef tries to clinch but Irons moves away and Irons counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jef doesn't succeed with the takedown and Irons counters with a left to the body. Irons misses with a body kick. Irons looks to score with a jab to the body but Jef is just out of range. Irons throws a head kick but Jef moves out of range.
Jef throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Irons circles away from the clinch attempt and Irons connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Jef shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Irons counters with a nice uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jef shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Irons counters with a lovely shot to the body. Irons goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Irons swings and misses with a shot to the body and Jef counters with a left to the body. Jef darts in trying to clinch and Irons counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jef looks gassed! Irons drops Jef with a big left hand and mounts him. Jef is in big trouble!
Jef is rocked!
That has opened up Larry Jef's cut even more. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Irons loads up with a big shot that hurts Jef! He's pulled Irons in close but Irons has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Jef survive? More strikes from Irons and Jef is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jim Irons! An out of breath Jim Irons thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
