Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kel Brook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harry Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kel Brook! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cole shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Brook but Brook pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cole misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cole. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Cole. That's going to take a lot out of him. Brook moves into range and clinches up with Cole. Brook softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Brook lands a right hand. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Brook. Brook is working Cole over against the cage. Knees to the body from Brook.
Nice body punch from Brook - that landed with a thud.
Cole has Brook pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Brook manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Brook works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Brook breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Brook tries to close the distance and clinch but Cole swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Brook wants to clinch up but Cole keeps it at a distance. Kel Brook seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brook lands a lovely overhand right. Brook fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Brook holds on and takes a little breather. Cole has gone for a leg lock! Brook slips out almost immediately though and dives into Cole's guard. Cole is breathing heavily. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brook accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Cole has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brook can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Brook trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brook content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Cole has locked up a guillotine! Cole's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Brook is holding on here and Cole must be using up a lot of energy. Brook has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Cole gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
