Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Geronimo Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeedo Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Geronimo Santos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jeedo Kimura! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Santos. Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Kimura tries to hold on but Santos postures up. Kimura is wriggling around trying to escape.
Kimura tries to hold on but Santos pushes him away. Kimura might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Santos kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Santos will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kimura working to try and regain half guard.
Santos looking to control but Kimura is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Kimura sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Santos frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Santos takes Kimura's back. Kimura tries to escape but Santos has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Santos avoiding Kimura 's attempts to control his hands. Kimura turns into Santos and is now in his guard.
Kimura trying to control but Santos is working from the bottom. Kimura must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kimura trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Santos is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kimura defends well. Santos looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Santos working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kimura doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Santos is tightening it up a little... Kimura has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Kimura reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Kimura taps out! Nice BJJ there by Santos!
