The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perimental misses with a kick to the body.

Perimental throws a sloppy head kick and Soderberg moves out of range easily.

Soderberg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Perimental's guard.
Perimental is trying to control the position but Soderberg postures up.
Soderberg postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Perimental is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Soderberg, into his guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Soderberg feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Perimentals jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Ex Perimental has been cut.

Perimental goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Soderberg lands a really nice looking cross but Perimental seems unphased.
Perimental is rocked!
Perimental thows a body shot but no joy.

Soderberg connects with a body shot that sends Perimental's belly button to the back.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Soderberg checks a leg kick.
Perimental seems to have recovered his senses.
Ex Perimental seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

BOOM! Soderberg lands a beautiful left hook that drops Perimental. Perimental tries to recover but Soderberg is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Perimental lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
