Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manny Ramos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Morris Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morris Johnson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Manny Ramos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Morris Johnson! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react. Ramos scores with a jab. Some wild striking there from Johnson.
Ramos moves into the clinch. Johnson goes for a takedown attempt but Ramos pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ramos lands a head shot. This has been an exciting period of action! Ramos misses with a wild combination.
Ramos tries a head kick but it misses.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Ramos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ramos counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Johnson's guard now. Manny Ramos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Morris Johnson. Ramos missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Johnson is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ramos is aware though and is defending well. Johnson has his foot on Ramos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ramos works his way back into a safe position though. Ramos would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
