Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noah Bennet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martinez comes to the cage accompanied by Non Phixion - The CIA Is Trying To Kill Me. Bennet has chosen Unloco - Crashing as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricardo Martinez! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Noah Bennet! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bennet throws a chopping leg kick but Martinez manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Bennet moves in looking to clinch but Martinez pushes him off. Bennet misses with a kick to the body enabling Martinez to counter with a crisp jab. Martinez ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Bennet scores with a jab to the head.
Martinez circles away from the clinch attempt and Martinez counters with a leg kick. Bennet looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Bennet tries to land a front kick but Martinez steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bennet misses with a low kick.
Bennet throws a leg kick but Martinez sees it coming and moves out of range. A left and a right from Martinez both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Noah Bennet has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Bennet attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Bennet throws a poor cross that misses

Bennet tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Martinez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Bennet checks the leg kick. Martinez lands with a shot to the body. Bennet pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Bennet throws a push kick but Martinez slaps the foot to one side. Bennet throws a right hand that misses
and Martinez counters with a slapping leg kick. Martinez ducks under a wild hook from Bennet. Martinez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bennet moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A head kick from Martinez lands but Bennet takes it in his stride.
That has opened up Noah Bennet's cut even more. Noah Bennet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Martinez throws an overhand right that lands on Bennet's shoulder, as Bennet tries to avoid the shot. Bennet buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bennet takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. A clash of legs there as Bennet blocks the low kick. Bennet takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Bennet throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Martinez sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bennet looks to land a right hand but Martinez moved out of range. Bennet darts in trying to clinch and Bennet takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Martinez lands the left hand. Bennet looks to score with a jab to the body but Martinez is just out of range. Bennet closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Bennet tries to clinch up. A swing and a miss from Bennet. Martinez misses with a low kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A good leg kick by Martinez. Martinez lands a leg kick that knocks Bennet off balance momentarily. The fighters circling - Bennet throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bennet misses with a two punch combination.
Bennet fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Bennet ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Bennet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martinez moves away. Bennet throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Martinez counters with a body kick that stops Bennet in his tracks momentarily. Bennet misses with a hook. Martinez ducked under it nicely. A low kick from Martinez misses and Bennet counters with a nice leg kick. Martinez misses with a body shot.
Bennet tries to clinch there but Martinez circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Martinez throws a push kick but Bennet slaps the foot to one side. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bennet looks to land a right hand but Martinez moved out of range. Bennet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Martinez forces Bennet back against the cage and clinches. Martinez presses Bennet against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Martinez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Martinez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bennet lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Martinez has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Martinez and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Martinez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Bennet moves into the clinch. Bennet tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Martinez tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Martinez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bennet throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Martinez. Bennet thows a left - swing and a miss! Martinez lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ricardo Martinez dominated that round. The cut man is working on Noah Bennet's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Some bone on bone action there as Bennet checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Martinez takes the fight into the clinch. Martinez managing to block the knees to the body from Bennet.

Bennet throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Martinez blocks it with crossed arms. Bennet using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Martinez has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Martinez gets through Bennet's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Bennet looking to slow down the pace here. Martinez tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bennet avoids it. Bennet with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Martinez lands with a right to the head. Martinez is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bennet tries a body shot but Martinez blocks it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Martinez scores with a shoulder strike. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Bennet in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Martinez manages to break the clinch.

Noah Bennet's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters. Martinez lands a left hand.
Martinez lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Martinez. Bennet is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Martinez lands a damaging elbow.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Noah Bennet's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
