Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ace Spades (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Takada Inagaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spades's entrance music is Im A Beast. A fine choice. Ace Spades has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ace Spades!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Takada Inagaki!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Columbo Gatti and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Inagaki shoots in but no luck this time.

Inagaki closes the distance and clinches.
Inagaki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Inagaki throws an elbow but it misses.
Inagaki is looking for a takedown.
Inagaki has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Spades is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Ace Spades has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Takada Inagaki.

Inagaki is trying to drag Spades to the mat but Spades just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Spades manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Inagaki should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Spades's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Ace Spades just wasn't active enough.

Spades closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Spades wants to pass to mount but Inagaki is defending the position.
Spades thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Inagaki's head.

Spades is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Inagaki has managed to free his arm - good work.

Spades stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Spades shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Inagaki as he avoids it easily.
Horrible takedown by Spades or perhaps it was just good defense by Inagaki which made him look bad.

and Spades counters with a leg kick.
Takada Inagaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Spades shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Inagaki sprawls well. Inagaki wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Spades gets slowly back to his feet.
Inagaki tries to close the distance and clinch up but Spades swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Spades keeps the fight on the outside.

Spades rushes Inagaki and presses him up against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Spades is trying to trip Inagaki. He has hold of a leg but Inagaki is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Spades persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Spades slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Inagaki wants to stand up but Spades is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Spades wants to pass the guard but Inagaki is keeping the position.

Spades is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Ace Spades overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Spades is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Spades working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Inagaki's head.

Spades stands up from guard. Let's bang!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Spades.
Spades keeps the fight on the outside.
Inagaki tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Spades paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Spades lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Inagaki circles away quickly and effectively.

Inagaki gets caught napping as Spades dives in and scores a takedown. Inagaki manages to retain guard.
Inagaki looking to hit a scissor sweep but Spades is one step ahead there.
Inagaki wants to stand and escape but Spades is having none of it.

Inagaki has his foot on Spades's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Spades works his way back into a safe position though.

Inagaki has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Spades avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Inagaki tries to circle away but Spades has him pinned against the cage.
Spades is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Inagaki is defending well for now.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Spades is trying to break the clinch but Inagaki is controlling him.

Inagaki manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Inagaki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spades tries to avoid it but Inagaki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spades to the ground. Spades escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Inagaki dives in and grabs Spades's left leg, looking for a takedown. Spades pushes down on Inagaki's head and hops out.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Inagaki shoots in but no luck this time.

Spades fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Inagaki, pushing him back against the cage.
Spades managing to block the knees to the body from Inagaki.

Spades gets control of Inagaki's arms and successfully pulls guard. Spades will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Spades escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Inagaki gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Spades has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Inagaki doesn't defend quickly enough and Spades has managed to lock this one up! Can Inagaki escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Spades on a fantastic submission victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Ace Spades!
Ace Spades made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'I was always taught to never throw the first punch, but you can bet your ass that I WILL throw the last.'.
