Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Jolley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCool comes to the cage accompanied by I'm Shipping Up to Boston. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peter McCool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James Jolley! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jolley lands a slapping body shot.
Jolley throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jolley fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McCool connects with a crisp jab. Nice sprawl there from McCool as Jolley shoots in. McCool looks to land a right hand but Jolley moved out of range. McCool misses the shot to the body. McCool misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jolley.
Jolley fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. McCool looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Jolley throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Jolley. James Jolley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jolley lands a jab-cross combination. Jolley connects with a single shot there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jolley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McCool moves away. Jolley throws a body punch but McCool moves out of range. McCool swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. McCool has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jolley goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McCool is rocked! Jolley takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh McCool is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Jolley throws a wild combination but nothing lands. McCool seems to have got his legs back now. Jolley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jolley misses with a takedown attempt - McCool sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Peter McCool has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Jolley. McCool defending well as Jolley loads up on a big left hand. McCool lands with a straight right. Jolley didn't see that one coming.
It looks like James Jolley has been cut. McCool throws a lazy uppercut
and Jolley counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McCool! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McCool is squirming around, avoiding Jolley's attempts to control the action. Jolley might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McCool kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. McCool is trying to escape the mount.
Jolley is looking to work his way around to McCool's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCool working to try and regain half guard.
Jolley controlling his opponent. Jolley moves to the back. Jolley has got his arm under McCool's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! McCool has spun round into Jolley's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
McCool trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCool is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jolley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jolley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McCool manages to get himself to full guard.
McCool keeping moving, preventing Jolley from controlling successfully. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Jolley trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. McCool can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Jolley controls the pace. Jolley sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed McCool's guard. McCool is looking for a sweep. Jolley is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. McCool works his way to full guard. Good work. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! McCool is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jolley frees his head nicely. Oh but McCool has switched to an armbar! Jolley is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle Armbar). Peter McCool! Jumping up and down and very excited, Peter McCool waved his t-shirt featuring [WOT] DTK Designs (Laundry)'s logo in front of the cameras.
