Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between David Ludher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Saggett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ludher's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Shook Ones Part II - by Mobb Deep. The crowd seem to be enjoying Saggett's choice of entrance music: Jay-Z - Heart of The City. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Ludher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bob Saggett! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Tiny Johnson and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Saggett rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ludher moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ludher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Saggett swats him away and circles back towards the center. Saggett lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Ludher fails in his attempt to clinch. Saggett throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ludher connects with a body shot that sends Saggett's belly button to the back. Saggett dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ludher. That did some damage! Saggett lands with a thumping leg kick.
A leg kick checked by Saggett. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saggett feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ludher sprawling to the canvas! Ludher rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Saggett finish him?!
Saggett plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Ludher to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Ludher just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Bob Saggett! After winning the bout, Bob Saggett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
