Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kreg Yamovitch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claude Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: If Rap Gets Jealous by K'naan. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Yamovitch drops his hands momentarily and Thompson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Yamovitch with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Thompson is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Yamovitch defends it well.
Thompson is nestled in close to Yamovitch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Well Thompson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
