Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mizuno takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Vrakas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Mizuno throws a hook but Vrakas avoids it easily.

Vrakas shoots in looking for a takedown. Mizuno tries to sprawl out of it but Vrakas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Mizuno manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Vrakas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Vrakas tries to clinch but Mizuno moves away
and Mizuno counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Nice defenses there by Vrakas.
Vrakas looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Vrakas. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Vrakas takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Mizuno moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Mizuno uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Vrakas has time to react.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Vrakas walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Shunsuke Mizuno showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Shunsuke Mizuno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mizuno has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Shunsuke Mizuno opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
