Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Scott King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Moraca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott King! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dom Moraca! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Winston Howard and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! King takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. King closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. King controlling the action here. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Moraca can do anything to dispel that myth. King thows a huge punch but Moraca dodges it nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moraca is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. King controlling the action here. King looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. King not landing any meaningful shots this time. King lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. King with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. King has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is nestled in close to Moraca, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Moraca wants to control but King is keeping busy and won't allow it. Moraca looks gassed! King thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. King seems to be working for a kimura but Moraca defends the submission attempt. King controlling the action here. Moraca is in trouble now - King has advanced to mount! King lands a heavy elbow.
That's two minutes gone in the round. King drops a big elbow. That's hurt Moraca! More shots from King and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Scott King! An out of breath Scott King thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
