Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Saddi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Saddi's choice of entrance music: Duran Duran - The Wild Boys. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bob Saddi! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones throws a combination. Saddi tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Jones rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Saddi moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Jones lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Saddi circles away quickly and effectively. Saddi takes one to the side of the head.
A head kick from Jones lands but Saddi takes it in his stride. Saddi avoids the head kick by Jones.
A head kick by Jones misses and Saddi counters with a body kick. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jones misses with a body shot
and Saddi counters with a good, hard body kick but Jones shrugs it off. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saddi tries a head kick but it misses.
Saddi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones scores with a nice strike. Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Jones swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jones slaps away a takedown attempt from Saddi, before circling back to the center of the mat. Saddi throws a head kick that misses. Saddi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Saddi throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease. Saddi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Saddi misses with a double jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Jones. Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Jon Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones throws a nice head kick!

Saddi misses with a hook. Jones ducks under a wild hook from Saddi. Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Saddi gets in close and instigates a clinch. Saddi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jones is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jones prevents a body shot from Saddi. Saddi with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Saddi has him pressed against the cage. Saddi is pushing Jones up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jones is trying to break free. Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jones lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jones.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones gets tackled into the cage by Saddi. Saddi maintains the clinch. Jones breaks the clinch.
Jones throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Jones lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Saddi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saddi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily. Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Saddi. A jab lands there for Saddi. Jones drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Saddi has a closed guard, preventing Jones from standing up. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Saddi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod. That's time! Jones's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Jon Jones is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Saddi, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Saddi against the cage but Saddi circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Saddi. Jones with a nice cross.

Jones fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Saddi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Jones avoids it really well and circles away. Jones lands with a right hand. Saddi is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jones. Jones is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Jones connects with a body shot that sends Saddi's belly button to the back. A shot to the body from Jones misses and Saddi moves into the clinch. Jones can't break the clinch.
Saddi goes for a takedown attempt but Jones pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Jon Jones is winning the standup battle so far. Jones fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saddi manages to avoid it. Saddi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Jones's hands. Jones lands with a cross. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jones throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A head kick misses from Jones. Saddi misses with an attempted mid kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones thuds a left hand into Saddi's body. Sloppy strikes from Saddi. Those never looked like landing. Jones pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jones keeps the fight on the outside. Jones throws a head kick but Saddi moves out of range.
Saddi takes the fight into the clinch. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Saddi throws a lazy head kick and Jones counters with a flying knee. Nice. Jones throws a series of punches but Saddi moves out of range. Jones looks for a takedown but Saddi sprawls well. Saddi fails with a takedown attempt. Jon Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Saddi.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saddi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jones is fending him off so far but Saddi persists. Nope, Jones circles away and we're back to standing. Jones goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Saddi takes a shot to the body in his stride.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jones misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A jab from Jones finds it's way through Saddi's defenses. Jones is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jones's corner calls for a 1-2. Jones obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Jones dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Saddi darts in trying to clinch letting Jones counter with a right hand. Jones is looking to wear down Saddi with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Jones plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Saddi throws a sloppy head kick and Jones counters with a head kick. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saddi throws a wild body kick that Jones sees coming a mile off. Saddi throws a head kick that misses. Jones misses with a head kick.
Saddi doesn't manage to clinch there - Jones circles away.
A head kick by Jones misses and Saddi counters with a three punch combo that has Jones backing up. Jones nods at Saddi to acknowledge the strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Saddi tries to close the distance and clinch but Jones swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Saddi throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Jones tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A combination from Saddi does no damage. Saddi gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Jones misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Saddi clinches up against the cage. Jones looking to throw knees to the head but Saddi is blocking nicely.

Jones lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Saddi is looking to clinch. Bob Saddi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jones throws a nice looking combination but Saddi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Jones tries a head kick but it misses.

Jones takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Saddi takes the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Saddi tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Jones is trying to break the clinch but Saddi is controlling him. Saddi scores with a knee to the head.
Jones wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Saddi keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Saddi swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jones is trying to force a seperation but Saddi has the dominant position. Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Jones takes a knee right on the jaw!
Saddi tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Saddi misses with a takedown and Jones counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Bob Saddi. I think Jones has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
