The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
CXB circles away from the clinch attempt.
CXB scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Gunther wants to get back to his feet.
CXB takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Gunther pushes CXB off looking to stand but CXB dives back in and keeps control.
CXB passes the guard and advances to mount!
Gunther is looking to get to half guard.

Gunther tries to kick CXB off in order to stand up. CXB Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Gunther gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
CXB landing strikes from the mount and Gunther is in trouble!

Gunther is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
CXB has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Gunther's face.
Gunther is trying to reverse the position but instead CXB has taken his back - oops!

CXB has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Gunther is in real trouble here. CXB gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Gunther is tapping out! CXB wins by rear naked choke!
