Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Striker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mazza Ozcop!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ozcop thuds a left hand into Striker's body.
Ozcop moves away from the strike by Striker.
Ozcop comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Striker throws the left hand but Ozcop avoids the punch easily.
Ozcop keeps Striker at a distance using the push kick.
Both fighters circling a little - Ozcop finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
Striker is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ozcop lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
The fighters circle momentarily. Ozcop darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Striker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
A good leg kick by Ozcop.
An inside leg kick lands from Ozcop.
Ozcop fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Striker has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
A nice inside leg kick there by Ozcop. That's going to slow Striker down.
Ozcop scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Ozcop fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Ozcop throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ozcop lands a big head kick that sends Striker tumbling to the mat! Ozcop takes a step backwards and waves Striker back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Striker is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Striker stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ozcop.
Ozcop scores with a body shot.
Ozcop throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Striker crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Mazza Ozcop!
