The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Claude throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

OSullivan moves into range and clinches up with Claude.
Claude tries to score a body lock takedown but OSullivan shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

OSullivan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Claude tries to clinch up but OSullivan circles away and keeps his distance.

Claude wants to clinch up but OSullivan keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Claude looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Claude is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Claude tries to free his leg and advance position but OSullivan is retaining full guard.
Claude wants to control from the top but OSullivan keeps moving.
Claude might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control OSullivan kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
OSullivan is looking to stand up but Claude isn't so interested in that idea.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Chael Claude hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

OSullivan wants to take the fight to the mat but Claude manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
