The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lindros.
Rex avoids the body shot from Lindros.

Rex throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lindros's waist but Lindros gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rex off to one side.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lindros tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rex was well out of range. Poor timing from Lindros.

Rex rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lindros counters with a leg kick.
Lindros fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rex has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Lindros counters with a nice low kick that buckles Rex's knee momentarily.

Lindros connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Lindros's jab looks to have found its range, popping Rex under the eye.
Lindros walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Rex is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Rex has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lindros.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Rex is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Rex is breathing heavily.
Lindros lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Eric Lindros spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
