Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hazel LeVasser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LeVasser comes to the cage accompanied by X-Men: First Class- Magneto. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hazel LeVasser!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Greg Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, William Peck and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeVasser on the wrong end of a nice jab.
LeVasser keeps the fight on the outside.
LeVasser shoots in for a takedown but Dixon shows good takedown defense.

Dixon has managed to clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Dixon.
LeVasser is trying to break the clinch but Dixon is controlling him.
LeVasser is trying to force a seperation but Dixon has the dominant position.

Dixon breaks from the clinch.
LeVasser tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
LeVasser shoots in and drives through. Dixon sprawls well.
Nice cross by Dixon.

LeVasser fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dixon sprawls well initially but LeVasser persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

LeVasser is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dixon doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time LeVasser.

LeVasser tries to stand and escape but Dixon is controlling the position.
Dixon tries to kick LeVasser off but LeVasser keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

LeVasser swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Dixon is now in LeVasser's guard. A big mistake from LeVasser there, giving up the dominant position!

Dixon gets to his feet. LeVasser looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dixon circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dixon closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
LeVasser scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Dixon manages to mount him!
LeVasser wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.

Dixon can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as LeVasser is looking to escape.

LeVasser defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dixon.
This has been an exciting period of action!
LeVasser really wants to buck Dixon off and get back to his feet.
Dixon wants to control the pace but LeVasser is squirming around nicely.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Dixon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. LeVasser was covering up waiting for the punch and Dixon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
LeVasser wants to stand up but Dixon is controlling him.
Dixon is in close to LeVasser's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Dixon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

LeVasser pushes Dixon off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
A head kick from Dixon lands but LeVasser takes it in his stride.


It looks like Hazel LeVasser has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from LeVasser.
Dixon scores with a crisp jab that stopped LeVasser in his tracks.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dixon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in LeVasser's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dixon is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
LeVasser wants to stand and escape but Dixon is having none of it.

Dixon is pressed up against the cage. LeVasser has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Dixon down to the mat. Dixon avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

and Dixon counters with a nice double leg into side control. LeVasser won't be happy with that.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Dixon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
