7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Demoss! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Demoss wants to clinch. Demoss misses with a two punch combination.
McCork lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McCork tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A slow jab from McCork misses its intended target. Demoss keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Demoss tries to clinch but McCork moves out of range. Demoss is looking to clinch. Demoss staying out of range there. Demoss has closed the distance and engaged McCork in a clinch.

Demoss decides to pull guard. Demoss looking for a sweep. Not yet Demoss, not yet. Demoss pulls McCork in to control the position. McCork tries to free his leg and advance position but Demoss is retaining full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demoss can't do much from the bottom here. McCork thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. McCork is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Demoss is trying to escape and McCork transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Demoss is forced to tap! Nice work there by McCork! Very nice indeed!
