Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, James Poe! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pete Butcher! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Bruno Lombardi and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Butcher connects with a single shot there. Poe has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Poe there as he acknowledges the shot. Butcher moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Butcher lands an overhand right.
Poe is rocked! Poe has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Butcher. Oh Poe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Poe throws a low kick but Butcher avoids it. Poe seems to have got his legs back now. Butcher ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Butcher stuffs the takedown. Poe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Butcher. Butcher obviously looking to wear him down.
Butcher connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Poe's hands. Poe misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Poe showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Butcher.
That's one minute gone in the round. Poe will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for James Poe. That's going to take a lot out of him. Poe needs to keep his hands up - Butcher had a free shot at his head there. Butcher cracks Poe on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Poe falls backwards against the cage. Butcher follows up with more strikes that drop Poe to his knees. Butcher keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Poe! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pete Butcher! After the big win, Pete Butcher made sure to do all the important stuff like thanking his sponsors Ganja's Warehouse and telling the interviewer how much he loves him.
