Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kirk Lazarus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Diggs!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazarus shoots in but Diggs avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Diggs defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lazarus.
Diggs looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Diggs is pushing down on Lazarus's leg trying to pass to half guard. Lazarus is fighting to maintain full guard but Diggs has managed to sneak the leg through.
Diggs blocks the strikes from Lazarus.

Lazarus wants to get back to full guard but Diggs has passed into side control.
Diggs decides to stand back up. Diggs steps back and let's Lazarus get back to his feet.

Lazarus with a poor takedown
and Diggs counters with a nice double leg into side control. Lazarus won't be happy with that.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kirk Lazarus. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Diggs is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lazarus's shoulder. That is not cool.
Lazarus gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Diggs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Diggs cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Diggs controlling his opponent.
Lazarus knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diggs on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lazarus can't escape the position.
Diggs takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Diggs throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Lazarus has his hands clasped together but Diggs breaks the hold and Lazarus is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Diggs!
