The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damato Jr stuffs the takedown.
Kamakawiwo Ole fails with a takedown attempt.
Kamakawiwo Ole tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Damato Jr swivels and escapes.
Pete Damato Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Israel Kamakawiwo Ole.
Kamakawiwo Ole fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Damato Jr sprawls well initially but Kamakawiwo Ole persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
