Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takayuki Okubo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Kazama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takayuki Okubo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okubo stuffs the takedown.
Okubo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kazama uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Okubo.
Kazama shoots in looking for a takedown. Okubo tries to sprawl out of it but Kazama keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Okubo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Kazama can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Okubo controls the pace.
Okubo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
