Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Frank Cruz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Jerunkel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jerunkel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Cruz as he avoids it easily.
Jerunkel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Jerunkel fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Jerunkel shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Jerunkel is looking to work some ground and pound but Cruz has wrist control.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jerunkel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Cruz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Jerunkel decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cruz, up you get!
Cruz lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Bob Jerunkel has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jerunkel shoots in for a takedown but Cruz shows good takedown defense.
Frank Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bob Jerunkel.
Cruz lands an overhand right.

Cruz cracks Jerunkel with a hook to the temple - Jerunkel is on wobbly legs here! Cruz swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Jerunkel falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Cruz wins by TKO!
