Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamarcus Winters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chiwawa Chagaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Winters kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Lunatic Fringe. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winters avoids the head kick by Chagaev.
Chagaev sizes up Winters with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Winters tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chagaev manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Chiwawa Chagaev has been cut.
Winters fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chagaev manages to avoid it.
Winters jabs Chagaev to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Chagaev swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Winters looks to score with a jab to the body but Chagaev is just out of range.
Winters throws a leg kick but Chagaev sees it coming and checks it nicely.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Winters swings widly with a right hand
and Chagaev counters with a nice body kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chagaev misses with a body kick.
Winters feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Chagaev sprawling to the canvas! Chagaev rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Winters finish him?!
Chagaev is rocked!

Chagaev on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Winters. Winters obviously looking to wear him down.

Chagaev throws a nice looking combination but Winters bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Winters lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Chagaev up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Winters from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Chagaev's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

After the fight, Jamarcus Winters was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
