The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salcedo thows a body shot but no joy.
Kane tries to land a leg kick but Salcedo saw it coming and moves away.
Jose Salcedo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salcedo buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Salcedo missing with a left hand there. Kane was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Kane defending well as Salcedo loads up on a big left hand.
Salcedo moves out of range as Kane strikes.

Kane moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Salcedo walks into a left hand.
Kane tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Salcedo manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Salcedo swings wildly with an uppercut but Kane uses good head movement to avoid it.
Salcedo breaks the clinch.
Salcedo misses with a right hand
and Kane counters with a good low kick that Salcedo was not able to check.
Salcedo throws a low kick but it's checked well by Kane.
Salcedo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Salcedo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Salcedo looks gassed!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kane connects with the punch.
Kane is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Good leg kick by Kane there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A nice inside leg kick there by Kane. That's going to slow Salcedo down.
Kane cracks Salcedo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kane has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Salcedo to stand back up!
Kane is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kane closes the distance and clinches.

Kane lands with a short shot to the head.
Salcedo is rocked!
Kane presses Salcedo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Salcedo is still on wobbly legs! Can Kane finish him?
Kane lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Salcedo to his knees! Kane keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
