Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Levesque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Melvin Maklveen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Levesque! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melvin Maklveen! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maklveen moves into the clinch successfully.
Maklveen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maklveen tries to close the distance and clinch but Levesque swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Melvin Maklveen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Levesque shoots in and bounces Maklveen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Levesque looking to pass the guard. Levesque is pushing down on Maklveen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Maklveen is fighting to maintain full guard but Levesque has managed to sneak the leg through. Levesque stands up from half guard. Maklveen lands a high kick!
It looks like Jason Levesque has been cut. Levesque circles away from the clinch attempt.
Levesque scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Maklveen regains half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maklveen is trying to control but Levesque passes into side control!
Maklveen is trying to control Levesque's posture but Levesque avoids it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maklveen is not content to let Levesque control the position. Maklveen is trying to improve his position. You can see the frustration on Maklveen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Levesque gets to mount! Maklveen was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Levesque trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Levesque.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Levesque tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Maklveen tries to hold on but Levesque postures up. Levesque has isolated one of Maklveen's arms. Maklveen looking to fight him off but Levesque twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
