The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Persetti sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Dueck is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Persetti tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dueck.
Dueck lands a head kick. Persetti smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Dueck throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Persetti's head.
Dueck throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dueck tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dueck lands a nice leg kick that just misses Persetti's sensitive parts.
Persetti takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A head kick from Dueck lands but Persetti takes it in his stride.
Dueck connects with a high kick.
Persetti is rocked!
Dueck circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Persetti drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Dueck follows Persetti to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dennis Dueck!
