Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Delay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Micheal Delay! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Steel! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steel stuffs the takedown attempt from Delay. Delay gets slowly back to his feet. Delay lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Steel backs up against the cage.
Delay throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Delay missing with a left hand there. Steel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Delay has a takedown stuffed. Delay is breathing heavily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Delay. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micheal Delay. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel looks to score with a jab to the body but Delay is just out of range. Delay avoids the body shot from Steel.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Steel's guard. Delay trying to control the position from guard on top but Steel is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Delay passes Steel's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Delay has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Delay thowing shots but they're missing. Steel is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Delay tries to control but Steel wriggling away. Delay controlling the position easily from mount. Delay has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Steel's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Steel is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Delay rather than just go for the knockout. Steel swings for the body but Delay moves out of range.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Delay throws a head kick that misses. Delay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jan Steel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jan Steel. I think Steel has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
