Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deano Clavet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis has chosen Avril Lavigne - Hot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Anthony Ellis has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Bruno Lombardi and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clavet.
Clavet tries to clinch but Ellis moves out of range.
Clavet on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Ellis circles away from the clinch attempt
and Ellis counters with a nice body shot.
Ellis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clavet throws a combination that misses
and Ellis counters with a solid body kick.

Ellis misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ellis lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Clavet backwards.
Clavet is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Ellis gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Clavet has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ellis uses from the top position.

Let's hope that Ellis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Anthony Ellis wasn't active enough on the ground.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ellis shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Clavet shoots in looking for a takedown but Ellis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Clavet's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Deano Clavet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ellis, as that shot connected.
Ellis leaves Clavet with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Clavet is trying hard to land a takedown here. Ellis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Clavet wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Ellis, who protects the arm well.

Clavet with the ground and pound but Ellis regains half guard under the barage of strikes.
Ellis wants to control but Clavet is keeping busy.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ellis pushes Clavet off looking to stand but Clavet dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Clavet winds up and cracks Ellis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ellis is controlling Clavet's trapped leg to prevent Clavet from advancing to side control.
Ellis wants to control but Clavet is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Ellis dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Oh Clavet is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ellis is pushing Clavet up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Ellis creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Clavet's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Clavet drops to his knees and Ellis pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
