Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Caraan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Jalabert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Caraan comes to the cage accompanied by TubThumping(I get Knockdown). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Cedric Caraan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pierre Jalabert! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jalabert bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The referee asks Jalabert politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Jalabert prefers to stall for the moment though. Jalabert is chipping away with strikes.
Jalabert really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Caraan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Jalabert throws a strike aimed at the side of Caraan's head but Caraan avoids it well. Caraan sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Caraan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Jalabert. Caraan misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Caraan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Jalabert is working for a kimura but Caraan is defending it quite comfortably.

Caraan tries to roll over but Jalabert keeps him under control. Caraan looking for submissions off his back. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Caraan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jalabert pulls his head out easily. Caraan tries to get to full guard but Jalabert has control of the leg. Caraan actively working from the bottom here. Jalabert is trying to control. Caraan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Caraan won't allow Jalabert to pass to mount. Caraan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Jalabert is working for a submission of some sort.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jalabert connects with a nice short shot to Caraan's temple.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jalabert wants to pass the guard but Caraan is defending well. Jalabert sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Caraan defending well though. Jalabert slips a nice elbow through Caraan's hands, connecting with Caraan's forehead. Caraan misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jalabert is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Caraan is looking to improve his position.

Caraan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Jalabert must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Caraan keeping moving, preventing Jalabert from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caraan is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jalabert rolls with it to try and escape but Caraan cranks on the arm and Jalabert is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
