Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joseph Von Minoza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Nasri!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Minoza.
Minoza misses the shot to the body.
Nasri takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Minoza misses with a hook.
Minoza throws a body punch but Nasri moves out of range.
Nasri defending well as Minoza loads up on a big left hand.
Minoza misses with a wild combination.
Nasri bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nasri moves away from the strike by Minoza.
Minoza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Nasri.
Nasri moves out of range of the strikes.
Minoza missing with a left hand there. Nasri was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Joseph Von Minoza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Minoza cracks Nasri with a right hand to the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Minoza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nasri slips under a jab from Minoza.
Joseph Von Minoza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Minoza loads up on a big right hand but Nasri slips the punch.

Nasri dives in and scores a takedown into Minoza's guard.
Minoza is looking to stand up but Nasri isn't so interested in that idea.
Nasri not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Minoza wants to stand and escape but Nasri is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nasri passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Minoza tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Nasri just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Minoza knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nasri on the ground.
Minoza wants to get back to his feet.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Nasri lands a shot to the body.
Nasri biding his time, looking for the opening.
Minoza controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
