Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ding Dang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Parkachev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vladimir Parkachev is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dang tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Parkachev paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dang tries a head kick but it misses.
Parkachev throws a series of punches but Dang avoids them all with ease.
Dang fails with a takedown attempt.
Dang fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Parkachev.

Dang takes the fight into the clinch.
Dang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Parkachev.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Parkachev is pressing down on Dang's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dang is holding on for now.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Come on Dang - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Dang obliges.

Dang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Parkachev stalks Dang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dang's face. Dang staggers backwards, shaken.

The referee calls for Dang to work.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Dang has clasped his hands together around Parkachev's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Ding Dang showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Dang has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ding Dang spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
