The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potnoir tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nero swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Potnoir shoots in and drives through. Nero sprawls well.
Potnoir shoots in for a takedown but Nero shows good takedown defense.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Potnoir.
Lenny Nero has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Potnoir.
Decent striking displayed by Nero there.
Nero scores with a jab. Potnoir acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Potnoir, as that shot connected.
Potnoir takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Potnoir fails to land with a series of punches.
Nero throws a lazy right hand but Potnoir sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Potnoir's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Nero connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Potnoir scrambles back to his feet.
Potnoir shoots in for a double leg but Nero sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Potnoir fails with a takedown attempt.

Nero drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Nero sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Potnoir is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Nero connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Potnoir some visible discomfort.
Potnoir is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Nero throws a strike aimed at the side of Potnoir's head but Potnoir avoids it well.
Potnoir manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Potnoir seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Nero is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
