The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lancing tries to clinch up but O Neal circles away and keeps his distance. O Neal throws a right and a left that Lancing avoids nicely. O Neal misses with a series of wild punches.
Sloppy strikes from O Neal. Those never looked like landing. O Neal throws a one two combo.
It looks like Aaron Lancing has been cut. O Neal throws a right hand that Lancing ducks under and follows up with a left that Lancing also avoids with ease. O Neal misses with the combination.
Lancing moves in looking to clinch but O Neal pushes him off. Lancing shoots in for a takedown but O Neal shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lancing tries to clinch there but O Neal circles away.
Lancing has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Lancing looks gassed! Lancing wants to clinch up but O Neal keeps it at a distance. Lancing doesn't manage to clinch there - O Neal circles away.

O Neal defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lancing. O Neal misses with a jab, cross combination.
O Neal moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Lancing tries a head kick but it misses.
O Neal misses with a few strikes there.
Lancing drives through and clinches with O Neal against the cage.
Lancing ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lancing no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Lancing is looking to sinch up a triangle. O Neal throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Lancing's body to avoid the submission. Lancing has instead reached around O Neal's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Lancing arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
